Intergeo 2016: Meet us!
For all those who are interested in the GIS, there is approaching a very big event coming to Hamburg this year – Intergeo 2016. It is the world’s leading trade fair and conference for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. This year it will take place from October 11 – 13 in Hamburg.WhereCamp Berlin 2014
Over the last three years WhereCamp Berlin became the biggest event of it’s kind in the world. Around 200 people joined the 2013 session and enjoyed the barcamp styled sessions. For this year the organizing team came up with some refreshing innovations. The whole event will last 3 entire days, 13th (Thu.) till the 15th (Sat.) of November. The first event highlight is the opening key-note by Steve Coast, the founder of OpenStreetMap (OSM). FOSS4G is coming
Unfortunately we are German based and the travel cost will probably be higher than my monthly pocket money but maybe one of you would like to attend the FOSS4G conference from the 8th to 13th of September in beautiful Portland (Oregon). FOSS4G is the annual event of Open Source Geospatial Foundation.
INSPIRE conference wants your ideas and works
Aalborg in Denmark will be a place to be in the middle of June as INSPIRE rocks the city. The initiative “Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community” commonly known as INSPIRE will have their annual meeting/conference in the northern part of Denmark.
